The magical Ferry Boat Inn enjoys one of Cornwall's most idyllic locations with beautiful views across the timeless Helford Passage. The pub sits in a beautiful unspoilt cove with direct access to the beach and water and is surrounded by wonderful local walks along the South Coast including the nearby Trebah Garden.

The Inn dates back 300 years and is situated in the North Helford Passage on the waterfront. Surrounded by wooded banks and sloping fields, this is one of Cornwall's most breathtaking locations. The inspiration for Daphne Du Maurier's novel can be found at Frenchman's Creek nearby. The pub's terrace overlooks some of the best views in the South-West, and offers plenty of beach-side seating for long sunny days and warm evenings. In the winter months, you can make yourself at home near our open fire or relax with a drink at the bar.

This business has Family at its heart, owned and operated by Husband and wife team Zander and Sarah Towill, along with their 3 young daughters who live just a stones throw from the Pub. The building enjoyed a total renovation in February 2017 with Zander's brother Ben and his wife Kate (of Basic Projects, a design and development company based in Charleston, SC). The result is a beautiful space with a close eye to the detail of the area, framed vintage pictures of old sailboats, traditional panelling and hand crafted oak Bar with a strong nod to its nautical roots.

Eating and drinking is central to The Ferry Boat Inn where we serve home-made pub classics alongside other delicious food. We have a 'farm to table' philosophy so that nothing comes between you and the produce we serve. Expect to enjoy delicious pub fayre alongside their signature dishes including Mackerel Tacos, Chicken Schnitzel and of course an unbeatable Fish and chips.

We can’t wait for you to visit this beautiful corner of Cornwall soon.
